It was not long ago in Canada that we all washed our clothes with laundry soap, often made yourself if you lived on a farm in the 1960's or earlier. That's all there was in those days, laundry soap. You either made it yourself, got it from your family or friends who made it themselves, or you bought it. These days, it is now laundry detergent, with no soap in it at all, that we use on the clothes that touch our skin for most of the day.

We first started to experiment with making natural laundry soap in 2014. It took a while but eventually we came up something that worked fairly well. However, it was just one washing machine, with our water, and our clothes. Would it work as well for other people we wondered?

We started including free "1-2 wash samples" of our laundry soap with some of our mail orders and asked those customers for their honest feedback. We quickly learned that the formula we were using needed adjusting to become more universal. After nearly a year of trial and error, we finally felt comfortable enough to have our customers purchase it for regular use in their home. What you see below in the comments are a sample of the results so far. A 100% natural laundry soap that is so surprisingly effective, you'll wonder why you didn't try it sooner!
