Unexpectedly great? June 19, 2025 Reviewer: Rob Welton from Cambridge, ON Canada   I wasn’t sure about the mint and eucalyptus shaving soap at first, as it was all I could smell when I opened the package. I was hoping for something a little more subtle :-) I have used it a few times now and I have to say I love it. The scent is not overpowering at all, in fact it kind of fades away fairly quickly after shaving. I was also unsure when I used it as it seemed to lather like ‘real’ soap rather than some of the other shaving soaps I have used. However, even though the lather seems a little thin, it does an amazing job of allowing the razor to glide over my skin with no irritation, nicks or razor burn. It is honestly one of the best shaving soaps I have tried, far better than some of the $20+ soaps I have tried. I will definitely be buying more in the future. Great product at a fantastic price, and it is Canadian (also from the East Coast, where I grew up!) Was this review helpful to you?

highly effective but one shortcoming April 7, 2024 Reviewer: Jantzen from North Vancouver, BC Canada   Loading the brush is fine but getting an easy thick lather is difficult. The big shortcoming is how quickly the lather fades on one's face. But here's the crazy part: the lubrication is astounding and the resulting shave is very close because that lubrication means one can be more aggressive with the razor pressure. When shave is done and I rinse off (wet hands to face) I can feel how slick and moisturizing it is. So much so that I barely rinse it as I like the moisturizing effect it leaves. So bottom line is that it's a highly effective soap but wow that lather is short lived. Also, the mint/eucalyptus aspect is very mild. I wish that was stronger only because I love the smell  and feel but as mild as it is, in future, I would just opt for my go-to scent for all things scented: unscented Was this review helpful to you?
