Shipping Information
All prices on our website and invoices are in Canadian Dollars. We ship all packages with delivery addresses in Canada and the U.S. via UPS, Purolator (UPS handles U.S. deliveries), Canada Post (USPS handles U.S. deliveries), and occasionally Canpar. Courier selection is at our discretion. The following minimum amounts for free shipping apply after any discounts have been applied and before tax.
FREE SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA ON ORDERS OF $150 OR MORE
FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. ON ORDERS OF $180 OR MORE
Shipping fees for orders below the minimum amounts are as follows:
- PEI, NS, NB: $15 flat rate
- Rest of Canada: $20 flat rate
- United States: $25 flat rate
Shipping Times
We aim to dispatch most packages within 2-5 business days, with orders placed near statutory holidays or in March requiring an additional 1-3 business days. Please allow this time to pass before inquiring about the status of your shipment. Note that weekends and statutory holidays are not considered business days. Shipping time frames are estimates and not guaranteed. While we strive to maintain a stocked inventory or produce items as needed, there may be occasions when out-of-stock items delay your order. In such cases, we will promptly notify you. Upon shipping, a confirmation email with a tracking link (for most shipments) will be sent. Please be aware that tracking is available for most shipments within Canada and to the U.S. For deliveries required by specific dates or within certain time frames, specify these dates in the Order Comments section during online checkout, or inform us via email or phone within 24 hours of placing your order. We diligently review Order Comments to prioritize shipments and ensure timely arrivals based on courier estimates. Should we foresee any delivery challenges, we'll explore expedited shipping options with you.
Shipping to the United States
For more than 20 years, we’ve had the pleasure of sharing our handmade products with our valued customers in both Canada and the United States. We’re truly grateful for the many of you who have visited us here on Prince Edward Island, and your ongoing support is deeply appreciated. While our U.S. customers have rarely, if ever, encountered additional fees upon delivery, the current shipping landscape may be changing. To avoid surprises, we want to make sure everyone is aware of what to expect moving forward.
Once shipped from our soap shop in Prince Edward Island, all courier fees, as well as any duties, taxes, and regulatory charges (such as FDA inspection fees) imposed by the U.S. government, are the purchaser’s responsibility. If a package is refused and returned, the purchaser must cover a $25 fee for the original shipment (even if it qualified for free shipping), plus any return shipping costs, government-imposed fees, and courier charges. These must be paid before a refund is issued or will be deducted. We are not responsible for customs delays, additional courier fees, or any extra charges imposed by the U.S. government, and placing an order confirms acceptance of these terms.
Note: Free U.S. shipping and U.S. flat rate shipping apply only to the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.; U.S. territories are excluded.
